Fresh Strawberry Peach Pie

This peach pie never fails to impress. It’s my most-pinned recipe on Pinterest in the last year and has been featured in several best-of lists around the web, including on DIYJoy. Make the crust homemade or buy a refrigerated one– it doesn’t matter, the whole family is going to love this delicious, summery twist on pie.

It blows my mind how popular this recipe has been over the past couple of years. It has all of the flavor of s’mores, and it’s perfect for when you want have cake in the summer but don’t feel like heating up your house with the oven.

No-Bake Chocolate Cheesecake

Fried Apples

This one is always tricky because it’s part side dish, part dessert, part the only food I want to have for the rest of my life. These fried apples are just like the ones you get at Cracker Barrel, and trust me, they’re great all year long. In the fall, have some over oatmeal. In the summer, serve them up over ice cream. In reality, just eat them as-is because they’re delicious and easy to make.

Sponge Cake from a Boxed Cake Mix

I’ll be honest, I love a good cooking hack that allows me to make something without having to go to the effort of making it myself from scratch. That’s why I’m a big fan of this hack that allows you to make a sponge cake in ANY flavor you can imagine. If you’ve seen that kooky flavored boxed cake mix but really need it in a light sponge, you can achieve that by changing things up a little.

There is a reason this hack is my most popular baking hack on the site… it’s super simple, and yields fantastic results.

Homemade Salted Caramels

Who doesn’t love homemade caramels? These are oh-so-delightful and they don’t stick to your teeth like standard caramels. They’ve got plenty of butter for a rich, buttery flavor, too, making them my go-to candy during my fall and winter candy-making obsession. But the great thing is that they’re delicious year-round!

Upside Down Ice Cream Mini Cakes

Growing up, I usually asked for Ice Cream cake on my birthday. I just had this big love for the crunchy filling paired with the chill of ice cream (I know, it doesn’t make sense for me to want a cold cake when my birthday’s in December, but that doesn’t matter!)

These pack all of the flavor in cute little bite-sized pieces.
